It's not what you think...you're looking at the leaves of a Texas Star Hibiscus.

Cypress, TX Daily Photo

As part of the "Daily Photo" family, I will post a new pic of Cypress, TX every day...as long as I don't forget. Come see a small town trying to run away from the big city. (That would be Houston.) And scroll to blog end for the complete list of Daily Photo Blogs. Enjoy!

Spring Break pics-Take 9-Gulf of Mexico

And to the right of the boat....here comes the moon.

Do you know the song "Man in the moon" by Harry Connick Jr.?

"The man in the moon is smilin'...cause he's in love....the man in the moon is smilin' cause he's in love with the girl in the world."

Spring Break pics-Take 5-Gulf of Mexico

So as we're coming back from the fishing trip the sun is setting to my left and the moon is rising to the right. It was amazing.

Watch for moon shots after the weekend. If you always find your head in the clouds, have fun watching the sun go down over the next few days.
